My Story: David Buchanan's career has led him to pursue several opportunities across the United States, gaining valuable expertise in politics, sales, advertising, manufacturing, and technology. David earned his BA degree from Georgetown University in 1973 and received an MBA from Texas Christian University in 1988. David’s prior experiences includes two years as president and managing general partner of Green Valley Mining Company. In 1981, David became partner and vice president of sales of 25 Metro, Inc., the first computerized yellow pages that directly connected users to businesses. The company was acquired by NYNEX in 1983. David took a position as principal and executive vice president of Action-Ravon Industries. His leadership helped the company emerge as one of the top ten advertising specialty companies in the United States. David recently completed his tenure as Senior Vice-President of Sales and Business Development for 411web Interactive, where he oversaw a successful sales effort from a start up to almost $20 million in annual revenue in a 4 year period. Currently, David is a Marketing and Advertising Consultant, and a frequent speaker at Internet Advertising and Search Engine Conferences; with a particular emphasis on political campaigns and campaign strategy.
