My Story: I am a biology professor and biomedical researcher at UTEP. Born and raised in San Antonio, I lived in the Northeast (New York, Detroit, Boston) for 25 years before moving to El Paso in 1991. I have an abiding interest in science, politics, and public policy. I was elected for 4 consecutive terms to the Board of Aldermen in Newton MA, and am very anxious to see the Democratic Party and its principles strengthened in El Paso.
