My Story: former labor organizer and college prof. now working on media and grassroots issues in local campaigns. Live in precinct 162 (Ward 11A) As a 6th grader I entered my first debate in support of Adlai Stevenson (we won.) Later I campaigned on the south side of Chicago for Shirley Chisholm followed by a stream of worthy, I like to think, candidates in a variety of local, state and national campaigns.
