My Story: I am a Delegate-at-Large to the Berks County Democratic Committee, representing Union Township. I have long been politically active, in the Washington, DC area where I grew up, and in Ithaca, NY where I attended grad school and taught for many years before moving to Berks County in 1996. In 2004 I volunteered in the Howard Dean Campaign, and started a voter registration program at Temple University where I teach part-time, and now I'm an enthusiastic participant in the 50-State-Strategy for building the Democratic Party. I work as a freelance writer from my home in Douglassville, and am a member of the Union Township Environmental Advisory Council.
