Democratic Lieutenant Governor Candidate Eric Abrahamson will conduct a press conference to discuss the effect of inadequate funding for education on current negotiations over teacher pay in Rapid City. Abrahamson will provide data on recent trends in starting pay for teachers and discuss cuts made to programs since the current education funding formula was introduced.

Abrahamson will be joined by former Rapid City Education Association President Sharon Darrow and several Democratic legislative candidates.
