Park Slope/Prospect Heights Canvass (50-State Canvass)
Howard Dean has sent out the call. Saturday April 29th is Democratic Neighbor-to-Neighbor Organizing Day. We will meet in Park Slope and fan out through the area to pass out flyers, hang door hangers and make contact with our Brooklyn Neighbors.
For those who are interested, we can meet before hand at 11 AM at 195 Garfield Place and, wearing our Liberal T-shirts and bearing flyers, we can walk to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and enjoy a Taiko (Japanese) drum festival at noon, then return to 195 Garfield to convene for the main event at 3 PM. Or people can meet us at 195 Garfield at 3 PM and skip the drum festival.
My wife and I will provide the home base, print out flyers, and provide refreshments at the home base. We need volunteers to go door to door and we need people who can print out and prepare the door hangers.
