Longaberger Basket Bingo
OxGrove Democrats’ Annual Basket Bingo Fundraiser
Saturday, March 29th at Redman Hall, Route 472 and Brick Road, Oxford, PA

Oxford, PA -- The members of the OxGrove Democratic Committee are proud to announce the 2008 date and location of their annual Basket Bingo. This year’s Basket Bingo will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Redman Hall, Route 472 and Brick Road, just south of downtown Oxford, PA. The doors open at 5:30 pm, and the games will begin at 7 pm.

Doors open at 5:30 pm. Bingo starts at 7 pm.

Where: Redman Hall, Route 472 and Brick Road, Oxford, PA (long white barn-like building just south of town)

Tickets are $25 at the door.

Refreshments: Coffee, soft drinks, hot dogs, veggies, etc. (for sale).


OxGrove committee members and friends have donated a lovely selection of Longaberger Baskets for this year’s Basket Bingo, and the raffle will feature a fabulous Longaberger coffee table with a shelf of baskets. OxGrove committee people will be on hand to sell and serve refreshments.

As most of us know, bingo is a game of chance in which randomly selected numbers are drawn and players match those numbers to those appearing on 5x5 matrices which are printed and are known as “cards”. The first person to have a card where the drawn numbers form a specified pattern is the winner and calls out “BINGO” to alert others to the win. This Basket Bingo features 9 cards on each game sheet, for even greater odds to win. The evening features 20 games, plus a special “blackout game” for an additional $5. Winners of each game will receive a lovely Longaberger Basket.

Basket Bingo is a social and fundraising event, not a political event!

The OxGrove Democratic Committee is the official organization representing the Democratic Party in southwestern Chester County. The committee includes Democratic Committee People from each of the fifteen southwestern Chester County precincts that make up Zone 5 of the Chester County Democratic Party. The mission of the OxGrove Democratic Committee is to recruit and elect qualified Democratic candidates and support them in advancing progressive Democratic platforms. Zone meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Penn Township building on Lewis Road (across from the YMCA).
