The "Education Group" will address and discuss matters directly relating to issues on education in this country. We will be concerned with the lack of adequate funding to schools, teachers, educational programs, scholarships,etc. The group will explore reasons why an American education is an embarassment rather than a pride and while politicians spout off their dedication to improving educational standards in the U.S., few, if any are willing to actually do anything about it to improve the standards. Hopefully, this blog will be a sounding board for teachers, college instructors, students and others who are genuinely concerned about education.
