Salute America

This group is for economic populists who oppose corporate welfare and corparate elitism; supports a prudent foreign policy which does not rely on name calling and threat as a primary element; supports multilateralism (one world with America - not one world under America); supports social and economic justice for all; supports the elimination of government and corporate corruption and waste; supports stronger checks and balances under the U.S. Constitution; opposes Presidential signing statements as legislating from the White House; opposes Presidential trade agreements made without approval of Congress; supports strong personal and family values; equal opportunity in education; more prevalent health care; protection of our borders; a strong defense; and the return of real democracy to our Congress which does not allow votes based upon arm twisting and side deals. This group believes that the war on terror can be successfully fought within the law and the Consitution and that if America gives up what it stands for it may become what we fight against.
