Dr. Dean, Thank You!

Howard Dean inspired many of us in the 2004 presidential campaign. And those of us who were inspired then were ecstatic when Dr. Dean ran for chair of the DNC and won.

The incumbent "experts" in Washington ridiculed the choice the DNC had made. They were even more patronizing when Dr. Dean announced the 50-state strategy. Those members of the party leadership who are now enjoying the fruits of that strategy were often the very members of the party speaking out against Howard Dean's goals.

We knew it was the right thing to do. We could feel it - it was obvious. And today, we have been proven right. Howard Dean drove this party in the right direction. And we should thank him for it.

I see no better way to thank him than by putting up a "Thank You, Howard Dean" bat. Small donations from all of us who knew this was the right direction can add up to an excellent demonstation of our appreciation. Thank you.
