Democrats believe that everyone should have access to affordable health care. Our plan starts with fixing the Medicare prescription drug program and investing in stem cell and other medical research. I urge you to support widely beneficial policies for America that increase access to health care, repair the Medicare prescription drug program, and invest in stem cell and other needed medical research. It is obscene that parents must choose between paying the rent or taking their child to a doctor, and unconscionable that some of our nations seniors still must choose between eating or taking their prescription medicine. Support Democratic proposals to reform the health care system so that it works for all Americans.
