Voter Protection Resource Center

The Democratic Party believes in promoting civic participation and a stronger democracy through ensuring every citizen's right to vote. "Democrats believe that the more people who vote, the better it is for our country," said DNC Chairman Howard Dean. "That is why we have the most comprehensive national election protection program ever, ensuring people can vote with confidence in all 50 states." The Democratic Party advocates a voting process that is accessible and inclusive of all eligible voters. This November, many Americans will be facing new voting technology for the first time. New laws have placed additional burdens on voters. Leading up to Election Day, we have implemented a 50 state voter protection strategy to ensure that Election Day is a fair and open process. Our national voter protection hotline, 1-888-DEM-VOTE and this resource center are designed to help every American vote with confidence this November 7th.
