In response to Trump eliminating pay raises for civilian federal employees, DNC spokesperson Daniel Wessel released the following statement:

“Trump sent the deficit skyrocketing to give massive tax breaks to big corporations and the wealthiest Americans, while working families got nothing. Now, as CEOs make record profits and real wages for workers decline, Trump has the nerve to eliminate pay raises for federal employees to ‘put our nation on a fiscally sustainable course.’ Trump has delivered yet another slap in the face to American workers.”
