The DNC is proud to announce the creation of the Mame Reiley Fellowship. This unique fellowship provides hardworking, passionate future women leaders with the opportunity to gain invaluable, hands-on experience in Democratic politics.
The Mame Reiley Fellow will work with the Democratic Women’s Alliance to assist our DNC Women’s Caucus, the Association of State Democratic Chairs, the National Federation of Democratic Women, Women’s Leadership Forum and our DNC women staff.
The Democratic Women’s Alliance grows and engages the number of women involved in the Democratic Party at all levels, from those who participate solely at the ballot box to women who run for office, staff campaigns, and legislative offices, or work at the grassroots level. DWA seeks to empower women to mobilize, engage, and train each other and continue the conversation of women in politics between each election.
The Mame Reiley Fellow will work alongside the DWA Staff Working Group which is made up of women across each department at the DNC and will have the chance to work substantively at the DNC on all aspects of women’s outreach from finance to political to communications and beyond. Fellows will follow the same timeline as the DNC Internship Program.
